Neurosurgery Unit III formally began its independent journey in February 2017, Recognizing the growing need for subspecialization in neurosurgery, our unit is dedicated to delivering optimal patient care through expertise in complex neurological and spinal disorders.

Our unit has developed a strong reputation in managing a wide spectrum of conditions, including:
- Craniovertebral junction anomalies (especially paediatric cases)
- Cervical spondylotic myelopathy (Corpectomy and laminectomy)
- Brain tumors (gliomas, meningiomas, vestibular schwannomas)
- Spinal disorders (degenerative lumbar disc disease, spinal tumors, intramedullary lesions)
- Minimally invasive and complex spine surgeries
- Awake cranial surgeries
- Endoscopic cranial and endonasal surgeries (pituitary adenoma, craniophayrngioma)
- Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson’s disease
